The site is built with Astro and builds off an open source template by Sanju. I’d already started working on this site and their were two main things I wanted to do with it:

1. have a place for writing, i.e., blog posts I’ve spent a bit of time on, and
2. a feed of unedited, more “raw” thoughts (like my own little social feed)

I came across Sanju’s site at the perfect time because it had both of these already created and done really well. I also thought the ship section of his site was a clever idea so I adapted it into my log.

I’ll continue to adapt the site for my own needs and update the design to personalise it to my own style. However, I love the clean, minimalistic design of the original project.
